Serhat is a lecturer at the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University and the academic member of the Centre for Society, Law and Popular Culture at the Westminster Law School, University of Westminster. He has a degree in law from Istanbul University in Turkey and undertook LLM International Law at the School of Oriental African Studies (SOAS) (University of London). He also completed Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law (London). He is currently completing his doctoral research at the Westminster Law School analysing the EU’s role into the regulation of players’ agents in European football. Serhat delivers the International Sport Law module on Birkbeck’s postgraduate sport management programmes.
